The Opala SS (Super Sport, or Separeted Seats), the sports version of character Opala, debuted the engine "4100" and became the third fastest car of Brazil, behind the Dodge Charger R / T and the Ford GT Maverick. The SS version was also offered with 4 doors, only in 1971.Later won the option of the engine "2.5" four cylinders, which lasted until 1980 when unfortunately already had lost much of its characterization sports.
